Do any of my details appear on the internet?

No matter how computer literate our clients are and even if they found us whilst browsing the internet, they all tell us that they do not wish to see their details or those of a prospective partner anywhere on the internet. And that is how we run our agency.

Where should I have my first meeting?

Not in your home, somewhere where you can relax in a safe and comfortable location, where you can get to know one another without any pressure. Meet for a light lunch or coffee - that way you won't be too disappointed if things don't go to plan.

What if I don't wish to meet someone?

We try to make all of our clients feel as comfortable as possible. If you have received a request for contact from another client and feel that this lady or gentleman is perhaps not for you, simply let us know and we will decline on your behalf.

How soon should I respond to an interested party?

As a courtesy to other members who have expressed an interest in your profile you should respond within seven days. Next time it may be you making the enquiry and you'd like a speedy response wouldn't you?

What if the relationship doesn't work out?

We'd be sorry to hear it, but please come back to us. There are favourable rates for those clients who wish to rejoin.

What should I do if my profile has changed?

Please contact us and we will amend your details so that your profile is an accurate and up-to-date reflection of you.

Do I need to ring the office to collect messages?

Not at all; we don't hang on to messages as it's in no one's best interests that we do so. We pass on all messages as soon as it is practicable and we won't keep you waiting any longer than is strictly necessary.

How can I be sure that the profiles I receive are accurate?

Our profiles and photographs are as good and accurate as we can possibly make them. Every client is personally interviewed and we discuss their profile details with them; all of clients sign to say that the information they have given us is correct.

Who has access to my personal details?

Only the partners, Hilary and Bruce. Reception will happily and efficiently take your call, but they have no access to your file or any information about you. It's perfectly okay to leave a message with reception and it will be passed on to us.

Do I have to add a photograph?

We would always encourage you to add a photograph as it greatly increses your chances of success - we are, by nature, curious. However, it isn't an absolute requirement. Those who decline to add a photograph, usually do so for professional reasons.
